Polished, Prepped and Prepared

Every employer has its own criteria for how they expect you to be dressed and how you present yourself. Presentation has a huge impact on a prospective employer’s first impression of you and, unfortunately, your skills. We all make judgments, be they deliberate or not, including hiring managers. The minute you walk through that door, an impression is made. Consider the “10 Second Rule” mentioned above; if you show up in jeans and a T-shirt, which isn’t deemed favorable by the prospective employer, you may have ruined your chances at getting the position within the first ten seconds of walking in the door, before even beginning the interview! Because we know our clients and their presentation criteria, we offer services and advice regarding the three “P’s” in order to facilitate getting you polished, prepped, and prepared for your first impression.
